Start here

Tell us who you are, how you move, and how you plan to earn.

  • Create a free account — takes two minutes.
  • Complete a 20-minute application: identity, mobility, route plan.
  • Save and return any time. Nothing is submitted until you say so.

You do not need prior business experience. You do need a real plan for how you will use the carrier.

Stage 2 of 6

Verify

2 to 3 weeks

We confirm identity, disability status, and route plan — privately.

  • Upload your national ID and disability card through a secure form.
  • Documents are stored outside the public web and viewed only by the verification team.
  • A verifier may call you to discuss your route and intended use.
  • Every document view is logged. Nothing is shared with donors.

If we need more information, we say so in plain language — never a black-box rejection.

Stage 3 of 6

Fundraise

Varies

Your story goes live. Donors and partners contribute directly to your campaign.

  • You control what appears publicly — name, photo, story.
  • Every contribution is visible on your campaign page in real time.
  • Partners can sponsor your campaign whole or in part.
  • We never close a campaign before it reaches target unless you ask us to.

This is not a race. Some campaigns close in weeks, others take longer. Yours moves at its own pace.

Receive

6 to 10 weeks

We procure, customize, and deliver a carrier built for your specific mobility needs.

  • Specification is agreed with you before procurement.
  • Customization includes whatever your mobility needs require — ramps, hand-controls, seating, harnesses.
  • You inspect the carrier before accepting it.
  • Safety gear and first-year insurance are included.

No two carriers are identical. Yours is built around how you move.

Stage 5 of 6

Own

On delivery

Ownership is legally transferred to you. Not loaned. Not rented. Yours.

  • A signed handover certificate records the transfer.
  • No monthly payments. No interest. No fees.
  • You are the legal owner of the carrier.
  • We remain available for maintenance guidance and partner referrals.

The point of ownership is that the income you generate stays with you.

Earn

Ongoing

You run your route, serve your passengers, and keep your income.

  • Your route plan becomes a daily routine.
  • We check in periodically to understand what is working.
  • Some beneficiaries later sponsor the next campaign — the wheel turns.
  • If the carrier needs major repair, we help you find a partner mechanic.

Six things beneficiaries ask us most often.

Does it cost me anything?

No. Applying is free. Verification is free. Fundraising is done by the community on your behalf. The carrier is transferred at no cost. We never ask a beneficiary for money.

Do I need prior motorbike experience?

No. We assess your route plan, not your resume. If you can safely operate or direct the operation of a carrier — including with hand-controls or a ramp — you can apply.

Will my name and photo be public?

Only if you agree. You control what appears on your campaign page. Some beneficiaries share their story; some do not. Your ID documents and medical information are never public at any point.

What if my campaign does not reach its target?

Funds stay dedicated to you. The campaign remains open, and MOBIpawa works with partners to close the gap. We do not cancel campaigns quietly.

Do I own the carrier, or is it rented?

You own it. Once your campaign reaches target, the carrier is customized, delivered, and accepted, and ownership transfers to you. It is not leased, not rented, and not held as collateral. There are no monthly payments.

How long does the whole process take?

Verification usually takes two to three weeks. Fundraising depends on your campaign — some reach target in a few weeks, others take several months. Procurement and customization run six to ten weeks from the moment the campaign closes.
